ABOUT
Sarah T. Yang, MD
Dr. Sarah T. Yang is a board-certified physician in physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), electrodiagonstic medicine (ABEM), musculoskeletal ultrasound (RMSK), and pain management (ABPM). Her practice focuses on neurodiagnostics and musculoskeletal ultrasound. Born in Fort Worth, she was raised in the Rio Grande Valley (Harlingen). She received her undergraduate education at Harvard and returned to Texas for medical school at UTHSCSA in San Antonio. She completed her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) residency at Schwab/University of Chicago and her Sports Medicine and Spine fellowship at Kessler/Rutgers in New Jersey.

In her spare time, she enjoys exercise, travel, and spending time with her husband, family and friends -- especially her dog nephew, Pepper.

Comprehensive evaluations to get to the root of the problem
Dr. Yang believes in getting to the heart of the problem by listening to the patient and using technology to perform the most thorough evaluation possible. With her unique background in physical medicine and rehabilitation, electrodiagnostic medicine, musculoskeketal ultrasound, and pain management, she can think critically, creatively, and broadly to come to the most accurate diagnosis for your concerns.

She is a life long learner and strong proponent of education for patients and providers. She regularly attends conferences to keep up to date with the most recent innovations. She also teaches other physicians at workshops and enjoys working with residents and medical students.
